Kawtar is an ICLC paralegal who was born and raised in Morocco until 2011 when she relocated to the United States. Before joining ICLC, Kawtar worked as a paralegal at both GMHC and African Services Committee, where she provided legal assistance for the naturalization and adjustment of status to Green Card processes. Kawtar holds a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice from John Jay College. She hopes to continue her education and attend law school. Kawtar is fluent in French and Arabic.
